Braces on for 8 months or 18 months?

there really isnt an answer for how long you will have your braces on for. my ortho said i was going to have them on for a year and i ended up having them on for almost 3 and a half! it just depends how much your teeth will "give" in the amount of time you have them on for and depends on what you need done.
