I want to go out with my bf somewhere. it's been 2.5 months.we haven't been anywhere alone.where should we go?

i thought about the cinema, but i somehow think it might be awkward :( he's very outdoorsy. i wish he would ask me out somewhere, but he hasn't, so I'm going to. please help.. thanks :)
