Girls normally act negative towards me.?

I don't try and act stuck up i try to act friendly and buy drinks, But somehow it always goes wrong. What can i do to fix this? Being myself is obviosly not going well. Am i being too nice? do girls like jerks more? How can i create some Sexual tension so to speak lol.
