I have court in Arizona for my divorce and I can't make it out there so now what happens?

My ex filed for divorce in the state of Arizona and also filed for emergency custody for our 2 children.. My 2 children reside with me in the state of Illinois for the past 9 months and they were both born here in illinois... I do not have the necessary documentation to take a plane out to Arizona and be there for court or to take a bus or drive down there, so now what happens? Could I get the Arizona courts to switch it all over to Illinois? I am not able to get an attorney because I cant afford one I am a single mom trying to support my kids and maintain a home... I feel alone and I have not been able to get help from anyone.. all attorneys require a $2500 retainer that I cant afford.. I am also a victim of Domestic Violence and even like that there has not been an agency that is able to help me...Feel helpless and need as much info as I can to see if I can somehow have Arizona handle court in Illinois.
