How to show my gf i will protect her nomatter what?

Ok my girlfriend wants to feel like i can protect her from anything and she wants me to showoff my manliness like do compititions with friends and everything else she said that makes her feel safe somehow i am not sure but is there any other ways i could just prover to her or show her i can protect her? Also she wants me to be dominant she just said be nice to her but be like an *** to everyone else also she wants me to control everything she does like when we do stuff what times and she said the only she doesnt want me to control is her friends and family but everytime i try and show my dominance she rebels against me wtf do i do about that? ?? Please help and i appreciate everyones answers
